An introduction to drawing, painting and mindfulness. You will discover how to achieve a mindful state of mind whilst drawing and painting from observation and the imagination, with confidence and creative freedom.

What You'll Learn
Recognise the health benefits of mindful drawing and painting.
· Explore a range of mindful drawing and painting exercises.
· Learn how to draw still life from observation.
· Learn how to draw nature from observation.
· Identify and practise at least 5 different brush stroke techniques.
· Use at least 3 different brush strokes to create a mindful, abstract painting.
· Use at least 3 different brush strokes to create a mindful, painting of nature.
· Explore a range of mindful drawing and painting exercises.

How Will I Be Assessed?
You will agree an individual learning plan with your tutor identifying what you want and need to gain from the course. You will build up a folder of work which shows the range of skills and knowledge you have developed. You will receive supportive feedback throughout the course and track your progress through your online Individual Learning Plan.
