How Will I Be Assessed?
You will be assessed on a continual basis.
Practical skills will be assessed on models, colleagues and friends in a realistic working environment.
You will attend theory classes and these will be assessed by online testing, oral questions, short written assignments and log book completion.

Entry Requirements
You will possess good dexterity skills and have a keen interest in hairdressing.
You must enjoy working with other people and be committed to learning, practising and participating in hairdressing training activities.
Hold a Hairdressing level 1 qualification or equivalent industrial experience, , high levels of English skills (GCSE grade 3) are required, Esol level 1 in reading and writing, and you will be invited to attend a pre-course discussion. Following this you maybe asked to complete a pre-course practical assessment.
You must enjoy working with other people and be committed to learning, practising and participating in hairdressing training activities.

Anything Else I Need to Know?
The course runs over one evening per week, it is essential that a high level of punctuality and attendance is maintained. You may be asked to attend a work placement to gain experience of working as part of a team and to gain knowledge of employability skills and expectations. You will be expected to purchase a hairdressing kit and tunic.
English and maths classes - for adults and young people who want that grade or confidence boost.
