Equivalent to three A Levels, this two-year programme has also been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses, so you can rest assured that the content is relevant and up to date.
You’ll spend 20% of your time on an Industry Placement, giving you vital experience in the world of work and a CV to wow future employers. Your employer may also provide you with that invaluable first reference, whilst a number of our students have also been offered full-time contracts following successful Industry Placements.

What You'll Learn
As part of the course you will study healthcare including:
• Working within the health and social care sector
• Health, safety and environmental regulations in the
sector
• Managing data and personal information
• Scientific and clinical practice
• Health and wellbeing
• Infection prevention and control
• Safeguarding
• Assisting with individual’s overall care and needs to ensure
comfort and wellbeing
• Assisting registered health professionals with clinical or therapeutic tasks or interventions
• Undertake a range of physiological measurements
You will also attend tutorial and personal development, exploring different topics such as healthy living, volunteering and
citizenship skills.
Supporting the Adult Nursing Team Through this pathway you will develop knowledge and skills of how to:
• Assist the adult nursing team with clinical tasks
• Support individuals to meet activities of daily living
• Assist with skin integrity assessments and with
the care and treatment of skin conditions
• Working within the health and social care sector
• Health, safety and environmental regulations in the
sector
• Managing data and personal information
• Scientific and clinical practice
• Health and wellbeing

You will be assessed through a variety of methods including exams, presentations, role play and written tasks.

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs, graded 9-4, including Science and English and Maths
Future Opportunities
The sole purpose of a T Level is to prepare you for employment and a dynamic career. Due to the broad range of topics covered on the Healthcare T Level, you’ll be equipped for a career in a variety of settings. You could work as a:
• Midwife, earning up to £45,000 per year
• Nurse, earning up to £37,000 per year
• Dental Nurse, earning up to £31,000 per year
As the T Level is equivalent to three A Levels, you could even decide to progress to university or a paid Apprenticeship, if you choose.
