How Will I Be Assessed?
You will be assessed via practical assessment and assignments, all your assessments will be graded pass, merit or distinction.
Entry Requirements
You will need a Beauty Therapy Level 4 qualification. Learners must also demonstrate a commitment to learn and have the appropriate life skills. Good dexterity skills are paramount and these will be tested via a skills test. You will need to enjoy working with other people and co-operate as part of a team. You need to be committed and keen to practice as you learn new skills. Entry is through a personal interview.

Anything Else I Need to Know?
The Beauty industry has an accepted dress code and all students will be expected to comply with these standards of dress when working in the Beauty Salon. No jewellery or acrylic nails are allowed by the exam board. Professional work wear will include a black tunic (approx 拢30) and full smart full-length black trousers and black full shoes. There will be the option to purchase kits, these can be discussed at the interview.
