What You'll Learn
You will learn how to thread and safely operate a domestic sewing machine to produce the above basic techniques in sewing required to produce a simple sample skirt.
How Will I Be Assessed?
You will agree an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) with your tutor identifying what you want and need to gain from the course. You will build up a folder of work which shows the range of skills and knowledge you have developed. You will receive supportive feedback throughout the course and track your progress through your Individual Learning Plan.

This course is a practical creative course. As well as working independently, you will also be working in groups. The tutor will be demonstrating and be accessible for advice at all times during the session.
