Enrichment
As part of your journey at 91´«Ã½, you will have access to our termly cross-college ENRICHME programme and vocational enrichment timetable – a unique offer designed to help you grow beyond the classroom. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, discover new interests, make new friends, enhance your wellbeing, or prepare for your future career, the cross-college ENRICHME and vocational enrichment programme gives you the space to do just that. It’s all about making your time at 91´«Ã½ meaningful, enjoyable, and packed with opportunities to connect, learn and thrive.
Our ENRICHME programme promotes Employability, New Skills, Resilience and Wellbeing, Inclusivity, Citizenship and Civic Duties, Health and Fitness, Meaningful Experiences and Enjoyment, offering you a variety of opportunities to explore your interests, build confidence and develop key life skills. These experiences are designed to help you grow personally and socially, get ready for your future career, and make the most of college life. They also support the key skills and experiences outlined in the Gatsby Benchmarks, helping you to prepare for life after college.
You will be expected to complete a minimum of thirty hours of enrichment activities in total throughout the academic year 25/26. Fifteen hours will be planned into your vocational timetable and fifteen hours will be available for you to choose from the cross-college ENRICHME programme.

Learning isn’t limited to the classroom…
91´«Ã½ is about more than the classroom – you’ll also have time and opportunity to try out various cross-college enrichment activities which include internal College events, such as our Freshers’ Fair and Diversity Festival. Organised trips, theatre performances and competitions will also keep you busy, not forgetting the huge range of sports and activities to improve your health, wellbeing and fitness.
We provide a massive range of opportunities to enrich your studies, suited to your interests and career goals. By taking part you’ll not only have fun but develop skills which employers are looking for i.e. confidence and interpersonal skills, giving you an edge when you go onto employment or higher education!

Anderton Outdoor Activity Centre
Exciting adventures await at the inspirational Anderton Centre, an inspiring outdoor centre in Rivington, which recently became a part of the University of Bolton Group. Learners will be able to enjoy a host of activities including team building, archery, kayaking, canoeing, the leap of faith and much, much more!
Internal College Events
There are lots of opportunities for College competitions and masterclasses from industry leaders to give you a real feel for your chosen sector. Other exciting events include; Jobs Fairs, Higher Education Fairs, a Freshers' Fair, an annual Diversity Festival, Creative Showcases and much more!
Organised Trips
Past trips have included university and industry visits as well as regional competitions. You'll also get to take part in lots of fun trips too such as; Media City, Hollywood Bowl, Liverpool Slavery Museum, Emmerdale film set, Chester Zoo, Arley Hall & Gardens, Alton Towers, Manchester Museum of Science & Industry, Douglas Valley Paintballing, Challenge4Change, Foot Golf, Trampolining, The Octagon, The Lowry, the Northern Ballet plus more!
